Our mission

Our Background

Our residents come from all walks of life and have at one point ranged in age 52-105. Anyone is welcome to come and live here and you do not have to have major health issues, it could be that you just want peace of mind that someone is there anytime you need them.  Most of our residents never have to leave even when their health declines due to our licensure, we can introduce home health or hospice when the time comes.

Our founder, Jackie Hartman, has more than 30 years of healthcare experience.

My name is Jackie Hartman, Administrator of CrabApple Village Senior Estates, a locally family owned and operated Assisted Living Facility. I have been around the Geriatric population my whole life. As a child my parents pioneered a nursing home just south of St. Clair, which is still owned by my mother.  I attended nursing school in my 20's, after graduating from college I worked in the

Emergency Room and realized I missed the Geriatric's and went back to Long Term Care to continue in administration and I am still here.  I always dreamed of having my own facility and to continue the family legacy my parents instilled in me.  When my husband approached me about making my dream come true, the construction began and completed in February 2005.  We have created a home-like setting to all who enter our home.  We look forward to making you a part of our family at CrabApple Village.
